Kalendar Restaurant & Bistro 1994 – 2023

Kalendar opened in Toronto's Little Italy in 1994 with 15 tables inside and 2 on the patio. Small from the start, but that was always part of the charm.

Our storefront has been a gathering place since 1912, when it first opened as a barbershop offering haircuts for ten cents. We like to think the spirit of the place never really changed.

From the beginning, we set out to capture something felt on travels around the world and bring it home to this little corner of Toronto. Romantic, warm, and full of flavor.
